Description:

AAA Electrical of NC is looking for an experienced Generator Installation Technician. The Generator Installation Technician position will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting of generators. Technicians will be responsible for documenting all required paperwork. Candidates should ideally have a minimum of two years of generator experience. Experience should also include the installation of transfer switches, panel boxes, and meter bases. Technicians must be comfortable both in teams and on their own as they will be required to perform in both circumstances. AAA Electrical of NC offers competitive pay, benefits, and vacation. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, generators, and transfer switches in accordance with National Electric Code

• Run test on the electrical, generator, and transfer switch components to ensure a safe and effective installation

• Inspect the electrical system, generator, and transfer switch equipment for any damage, malfunction, and safety hazards

• Communicate effectively with clients: i.e., discuss payment options, scheduling, and situations that may arise 

• Other duties as requested

Qualifications and Skills:

2 years’ experience in generator installation or electrical field

Electrical trade school can be combined with 1 year of field experience

Experience in Preventative Maintenance 

Experience in diagnostic and troubleshooting 

Driver’s License and clean driving record

Salary: 

Starting Salary $30,000 - $45,000 Based on Experience
